  • Architectural Vertical Bars: The front wall features distinctive vertical bars, providing a clean, modern aesthetic that allows the sauna to blend seamlessly into contemporary home interiors.
  • Compact Wellness Footprint: The 1-person Como 1-120 is specifically engineered for tight spaces. This design fits into urban apartments and ensuite corners without sacrificing the sauna experience.
  • Threshold-Free Design: By eliminating a door threshold, the Como 1-120 indoor sauna created a barrier-free transition. Your finished floor surface in the room will connect the sauna to the rest of the room, providing a premium, uninterrupted flow that visually and physically connects your living space with the sanctuary of the sauna.
  • Enhanced Airflow: The adjustable base allows the cabin to be slightly elevated, promoting essential airflow beneath the structure to keep your floor and sauna environment healthy. The low-level flow of fresh air, paired with the integrated roof ventilation ensure even heat in the cabin.
  • Raised Bench with step: The Como range is designed with a step-up to a raised bench; the heater is positioned lower in the cabin than the seating. This ensures that heat circulates from the very bottom of the unit, maintaining a perfectly even temperature throughout the entire space.

Customise your space and create ambience:

  • Decorative Hexagon Panel: Personalise your retreat with an optional decorative hexagon panel for the back wall, adding a modern, architectural texture to the interior.
  • Ambient LED Lighting: You can further enhance the restorative atmosphere with warm LED-strip lighting installed discreetly under the benches or behind the backrests.

The Como 1-120 is designed to look beautiful and engineered to withstand the unique environment of a traditional Finnish sauna.

  • 40mm Thermowood Walls: This thermally modified timber is resistant to water and humidity. It does not swell, shrink, or leak resin, ensuring your sauna remains structurally perfect for years.
  • Aspen Interior: The benches and backrests are crafted from Aspen wood, prized for its smooth texture and natural heat resistance, keeping it comfortable against the skin.
  • Tempered Glass: The front features a clear, tempered glass door with premium black hinges and a stylish handle, creating an open and inviting feel.
  • Insulated Ceiling: Finished with 15mm STS Thermowood to ensure maximum heat retention and energy efficiency.

To ensure a smooth delivery, there are some site preparations required in advance of the sauna arriving:

  • Level Foundation: The Como requires a level, floor surface to build upon. While the cabin includes integrated adjustment points to fine-tune the level on slightly uneven surfaces, a flat foundation ensures the best aesthetic result.
  • Finished Floor Surface: By eliminating the traditional door threshold, we’ve created a barrier-free transition between the inside and the outside of the sauna. The Floor surface must be finished (such as tile, stone, or polished concrete) prior to the sauna build.
  • Power required: The Como 1-120 requires a 6 kW heater and is usually paired with the Huum Drop 6. This heater size requires a 30-amp isolated power supply. The heater is on the left side of the sauna cabin.

Access and Installation:

  • Access: The Como 1-120 is built onsite; the materials used can be carried through standard-sized doors, allowing your sauna to be placed where you want it without access issues.
  • Build space: For our team to build the sauna, the area needs to accommodate two men working around it simultaneously. In tighter spaces like an ensuite bathroom, we recommend building the sauna first before closing off the room with bathroom fixtures.
  • Full assembly & Onsite Warranty: Aquasun Wellness provides full delivery & assembly services from our team of experts. Given peace of mind and build quality guarantees.

Electrical Note: While our team manages the structural build and mounts the heater, the final connection to your power supply must be completed by a certified electrician to ensure full compliance with Irish safety standards.
